The best way to tell you about Bunbury Baptist is in the words of Paul as they are recorded in Phil 3:8,

“I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.”

Simply put, we want to know Jesus, the real Jesus, the one who was crucified and died, and has risen as the universal King over all.

This knowing is not just a head knowledge but heart knowledge – it’s a personal knowing, a relational knowing.

So how can we know him? We can know Jesus by reading the Bible. From the Bible we learn who Jesus is and what he has done, and when we understand that, our response to him is one of confession, trust and joyful devotion.
